Behind the blog hides an ordinary woman, who’s biggest wish is to lose weight and get a healthier lifestyle.

I’m 31 years old, and I’ve been overweight for as long as I can remember, but have never been succesful at losing weight or maintaining the proper motivation to keep trying.

For a long time I’ve felt an unexplainable need to make weight-a-second.com and write about my thoughts related to being overweight.

Sharing my deepest and most personal thoughts about my overweight is very scary to me, since it’s something I’ve always been private about, which is also why I’ve chosen to remain anonymous (for now).

What I will write about

I have many thoughts about the consequenses of being overweight, and my original thought about WaS was to use it as some sort of “writing therapy tool” in relation to losing weight. Although WaS is mainly for the purpose of sharing the thoughts that preoccupy my mind, I will probably also write about other things every now and then.

What’s the goal?

The goal is to lose weight and get a healthier lifestyle, but in the process I also hope to learn a lot – about myself and about other people who are in the same situation as me.

No matter what your thoughts or stories are, I would love to hear from you. I’m sure a journey like this only gets easier if you have someone to “travel” with and to inspire you.
