Weight loss progress: Week 2

I’m so excited! This week I’ve lost 2.87 lbs 1,3 kg., and I’m so relieved! This means I’ve lost 3.53 lbs 1,6 kg. in total and are that much closer to my first weight loss goal.

For the past week I’ve managed to stay away from sweets and I’ve really made an effort to eat healty and stay on track. I’ve also managed to do 30 minutes of Just Dance every day, which is SO much fun. Some time during the next week I’ll increase the dancing time to an hour, because I feel like I can handle it, but don’t want to push too hard just yet. Oh, by the way – the picture is of one of my post workout snacks.. Looks really pleasing to the eye, doesn’t it? It roughly contains 172 calories, so that’s not bad. Continue reading…

So far, so good (I think!)

It’s been almost a week since I set my first weight loss goal, so I thought it was time for at status report.

I don’t know how much weight I’ve lost yet (if any!) since I haven’t been home since my last post. Hopefully I’ll be able to drop by my apartment this week and jump on the scale. But anyway, making small changes to my lifestyle is also a big part of the proces, so I can give you an update on that part 🙂

Also, I’ve been thinking a lot about what kind of content I want on this blog, because it mainly has to be something that inspires me to keep moving towards my goals. And what I find truly inspiring and motivating is seeing other people’s success with losing weight, so I thought about dedicating a section to before/after pictures and stories. I’m a frequent visitor on reddit and some of the subreddits there have some impressive weight loss stories I’d like to share on my blog.
